On leaving London in 2005, Ali was snapped up by Maureen Cairns Artist Management and within a few weeks was recording for BBC Scotland’s soap “Rivercity” as the Secret WAG of Footballer Andrew Murray. Invited to join the lucrative judging panel for Young Scottish Musician of the Year at the SECC and become an Ambassador for BeauBronz products & Renesmee clothing lines, all very exciting! Ali made her toughest career decision to date – to leave her amazing team at JM and pursue some personal goals. A tough three months were to follow; losing her grandfather Joseph, gaining her nephew Conan then losing her granny Margaret, it felt like the right time for Ali to move back to Scotland with her family and friends after a beautiful 15years in England.
